WELCOME
I use an approach called Psychomotor Work to support clients in healing, growing, meeting their potentials, and feeling a greater sense of wellness and balance. This method uses awareness, physical exercises, bodywork, talk, and psychoeducation, for a holistic approach to healing. When we increase our ability to feel our body, emotions, and energy in a direct and experiential way, we are able to find back parts of ourselves that had not yet gotten a chance to fully develop. We essentially can become more "ourselves", and feel an increased sense of freedom, richness, and balance in life.
Psychomotor Work
Psychomotor work was originally developed by Dr. Niek Brouw in the early 1970s and is a holistic approach to natural growing and healing. As psychological tension often manifests and is mirrored in our body, the stretches and bodywork relieve this tension as well as build physical awareness that can help us to feel more grounded and present, meet and shift psychological pain, and feel an increased stability. When we increase our ability to feel our body, emotions, and energy in a direct and experiential way, we live more fully and are also able to find back parts of ourselves that had not yet gotten a chance to fully develop.
